“Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.”
One of my all-time favorite humans wrote those words. His friends called him Jack. In my house, we call him that too. He was an incredible communicator of truth and a prolific producer of honest, “original” work. As I continuously learn to settle into the Linda-sized spot on this planet, the above words smack me with a big, old, “Stop making it complicated.”
Truth resonates, always. See it. Speak it. Show it. Share it.
